This topic will present a discussion-based forum covering the common misunderstandings and mistakes related to environmental permitting. Ms. Wahnefried and Ms. Drake will share various case studies to illustrate how to avoid planning pitfalls and keep projects on task and on target. Cases reviewed will include business risk scenarios using Phase I Environmental Site Assessments, compliance with the Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, and the National Environmental Policy Act.
